A. Christians Not Sure of their Purpose
- discouraged, lack of fulfillment,
- resources focused more on worldly pleasures
II. BIBLICAL CONTEXT (THE WORD - God’s address to such challenges)
A. Kingdom Expansion brings Glory to God
- God is worthy of living obediently to His ways
- God is worthy of all your praise & worship
B. Kingdom Expansion Declares War against the Devil
- devil’s global allegiance with others (god of this age)
- Christians/Church to remove spiritual blindness
C. Expectation of the Spirit-Filled Church
- use gifts of the Spirit for the expansion of God’s Kingdom
- use God-given resources to support the expansion of God’s Kingdom
III. REFLECTION/APPLICATION (THE WAY – our response as guided by God)
- Write down/discuss what stood out to you from today’s message.
- What would others around you say you are most enthusiastic in talking about (e.g., hobbies, sports, movies, family, God)?
- How are you applying your assigned spiritual gifts?
- What tensions are you struggling with between worldly pleasures and heavenly treasures?
-How is your life revealing God’s glory in your salvation story?
IV. PRAYER POINTS
-In prayer, ask your Heavenly Father what the next small step of obedience is required to expand His Kingdom presence within your realm of spiritual gifts, influences, and, resources.
