GROWING DEEPER

1. Why is it so difficult for Christians to embrace that God allows suffering?
2. What does it mean to you to know God is working through all our situations?
3. Have you ever considered that some trials faced are the result of having faith and not the need for it? How does that encourage you?
4. In Philippians 1:6, Paul says he is confident that God began a good work that God will bring to completion.
What does it mean to know that God began a good work in you as a believer? Do you feel a sense of confidence about it or does it concern you? Do you trust that God will bring it to completion?
5. While it’s true that we play a part in the process, how does it feel to know that, ultimately, we depend on God to bring us to maturity?
6. What is one thing you could do today to trust God more with this process?
7. What will it mean to know that all who are in Christ will finally be exactly what God intended them to be?

Blessings in our Lord,
