REFLECTING UPON THE WORD WRITTEN (Scriptures)
1. PRAY FERVENTLY: Pray for the Holy Spirit to open your heart to receive God's Word.

2. READ SLOWLY: Psalm 27:14, 31:24; Josh. 1:1-9; Ephesians 6:10-11; Phil. 1:20

3. REFLECT DEEPLY: Did any of the above verses specifically stand out to you? Consider writing them down and any implication/application God may be pressing upon you.

REFLECTING UPON THE WORD SPOKEN (Sermon)
1. Do you recall a time when you ACTED beyond your FEAR to accomplish a DESIRED GOAL? How did you get through your fear?
2. How would you define COURAGE?
3. Read Joshua 1:1-9: What made Joshua ready for this pivotal moment of leadership?
4. What do you think Joshua feared? What could be some reasons for his discouragement?
5. How has Jesus been preparing you all these years for this pivotal moment to now rise above your fear, respond in faith, and, boldly serve for His Kingdom purposes?

"Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever." - Hebrews 13:20-21
