REFLECTION
MEMORIZATION VERSE
2 Peter 1:4, "Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires."
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
1. Read 2 Peter 1:5-11
2. How is God speaking to you through these verses (encouragement, direction, correction, wisdom, etc.)
3. What would you look for to correctly discern false Christian movements, teachings, etc.?
4. Does God really expect you to live a holy (set-apart) obedient life for Him? How is this possible?
5. What is the difference between being a good moral person vs. being a Christian godly person?
6. Based on 2 Peter:1:7-5 what are we to add into our faith as followers of Jesus? How is this to be done?
7. What are the results/effects in making efforts to add these qualities into your faith-walk?
8. What will be the consequence if we decided not to?
May you continue to make every effort, by God's power and in the divine nature, to escape the corruption caused by evil desires in this world.
