- Believers are called to be Jesus’ witnesses to the nations.
- Jesus will come to dwell spiritually within believers through the Holy Spirit to build up a new faith-community called the church.
II. BIBLICAL CONTEXT – Acts 1 & 2
A. Characteristics of Spirit-Filled Community Church
1. God’s Word is truthfully being proclaimed.
2. Humble hearts are receptive to the Spirit’s conviction.
3. Commitments made to follow the commands of Christ (baptism).
4. The Lord provides the increase!

- How did God speak to you with today’s message?
- What ways do you recognize the Holy Spirit’s presence within you?
- Why is receiving spiritual correction so difficult to accept?

- Pray that our church will establish a deeper desire for Spirit’s continual help so we may live more like Jesus.
