I. Enemy’s Strategies to Divide / Dissolve the Church
- outside persecution, inside corruption & conflict
- believers to turn against one another, murmuring/gossip
II. Areas of Conflict
- diverse cultural and religious traditions, preferences, convictions
- misunderstandings, unmet needs
III. Resolving Conflict
- complain to the right people in the right spirit (complaint to concern)
- address the complaint/unmet need promptly in the Spirit’s wisdom
- know the priorities and delegate/empower others accordingly
IV. Implication / Application/ Reflection
- How did God speak to you through today’s message?
- Have you ever been hurt through church conflict? What ways could you invite Jesus to help bring healing into your areas of hurt?
- When you see an unmet need how will you protect yourself and the health of our church from Satan’s influence? What are some healthy steps to address unmet needs or concerns felt?
- Pray for healing, forgiveness, and reconciliation for any hurt or bitterness felt within our church family.
