The Christian Duty - servant obedience to Christ –

Key Points & Principles:
-Spiritual leadership and those with spiritual influence over others (little ones growing in their faith) hold higher accountability for their obedience to Jesus. They are sternly warned not to be the cause for others to sin or abandon their relationship with Jesus. (example: continual forgiveness knowing the danger of an unforgiving heart)
- Holy obedience to Jesus not only brings promising blessings and eternal rewards to the obedient but their ‘fruit of obedience’ will bless others with the presence and power of Jesus (salvation, deliverance, edification, etc.).
Abiding in the Word & Growing in the Way:
How did God’s Word speak specifically to you through today’s message? How were you challenged? Encouraged?
Listening Prayer – Ask the Lord:
a. where specifically are you calling for my obedience
b. is there an area(s) I’ve been avoiding or running away from that is the cause for disobedience
Take time to listen, repent if necessary, and, pray for the Holy Spirit to guide and equip you to follow Jesus as He leads you.
