BIG IDEA FOR SERMON SERIES: "How do we live in the Heavenly Wisdom of Christ that guards us from falling into the foolish seductive ways of this world and, prepares us for eternal glory?")

SCRIPTURES: Prov. 1:10-2:22, 13:20; Ps. 26:4-12; Matt. 16:26; James 1:5

LIVING IN THE WORLD
1. What type of peer pressure or high expectations from others are trying to lure you into something you know it's not good (sinful, immoral, etc.)?
2. Why is it so difficult to say NO to such harmful influences from others?

ABIDING IN THE WORD
1. Read the above Scriptures. How is God speaking to you through these verses?
2. What is the father's longing for his young son based on these verses read?
3. Based on Proverbs 1:22 what kinds of people should you carry discernment towards?
4. Based on Proverbs 2:20-21 who are the wise people to hang around?

GROWING IN THE WAY
1. If you were to ask God who, or, what crowd to hang out with, would God ask of you to make any changes knowing this will protect your well-being? Spend some time with God and pray in this area.
2. The choices you make in whom to hang out with, absolutely matters and possibly determine the outcome of your future including your relationship with God. May God grant you wisdom and courage in this area.

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thanksgiving in our hearts to God. And whatever you do, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." - Col. 3:16-17

Blessings in our Lord,
