I. INTRODUCTION (THE WORLD - Worldly/Church challenges)
A. Feelings/Fears in Sharing our Faith
- awkward, timid, shy, inadequate, rejection, not educated, gifted, etc.
B. Inward Focused
- keeps the relationship with God restrained by comfort
- relies more upon self to share Jesus with others
II. BIBLICAL CONTEXT (THE WORD - God’s address to such challenges)
A. Outward Vision of God
- God desires all people/nations to be saved
- God communicates His real presence (creation, conscience)
- God calls upon real people making His presence known
(Abraham – Israel – Jesus – Early Church – YOU)
B. Our Response to God’s Outward Vision of Salvation
- share God’s love by proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ
III. REFLECTION/APPLICATION (THE WAY – our response as guided by God)
- Write down/discuss what stood out to you from today’s message.
- God desires to be known among the nations. What are ways He testifies about Himself?
- What evidence is there that God cares for all the nations? Whom did he send?
- What does it mean to say, “you have faith”?
- What reservations do you have sharing your faith with others?
- What might be that next small step needed to embrace God’s outward vision of salvation as your life-vision?
BLESSINGS!
