FURTHER REFLECTION
1. Read Genesis 39-41.
2. Did anything stand out for you? How might God be speaking to you through these chapters?
3. How important is it for you to grow in Godly Christ-like character?
4. What made it possible for Joseph to keep his cool even when betrayed, tempted, falsely accused, forgotten? What are the implications/applications within the context of your life?
5. SERMON POINTS: Joseph guarded his character for God by: 1. Being grounded with God's promises (his dreams). 2. Understanding the greater consequence of sinning against God. 3. Knowing with God he could still prosper in unfair places. 4. Keeping compassionate toward others regardless of how others treated him. 5. Continued to trust God in the silence.
6. What sermon point do you need to apply today to guard your character for God's purposes?

Blessings!
