GREETINGS IN OUR LORD!

REFLECTING UPON THE WORD WRITTEN (Scriptures)
1. PRAY FERVENTLY: Pray for the Holy Spirit to open your heart to receive God's Word.
2. READ SLOWLY: Colossians 1:16; Matthew 28:18; 1 Peter 2:13-15; Philippians 2:1-11; 1 Peter 2:21-22; Acts 4:19;
Acts 5:29
3. REFLECT DEEPLY: Did any verses specifically stand out to you? Consider writing them down and any implication/application God may be pressing upon you.

REFLECTING UPON THE WORD SPOKEN (Sermon)
1. How did Jesus, the Son of God, reveal His humility, obedience,and submission towards God's Authority and God's Delegated Authority?
2. Why do think submission (being subject to our yielding under another) is disliked?
3. What is the danger of pride (self-exaltation over others including those in position of authority)?
4. Jesus "Emptied Himself" is heavenly position of power and glory taking on the limitation of humanity in His humility. What needs to be "emptied" in your life to maintain humility, obedience, and submission to others?
5. Is it possible to submit to those in position of Authority (even if against God's Word), and yet, still keep obedient to God's Word? How? (hint: submission is about attitude while obedience is about action)
6. How will you live by the "principle of Christ in obedience to God" and keep away from "the principle of Satan in rebellion against God"?
